True cost of keeping a small toy dog Shih Tzu?
Hi there, me and my partner are quite interested in getting a dog. Can you let me know how much on average do you spend? including jabs, insurance, food, toys and vet fees etc?

Answer:
$1200 a year per dog at least. Smaller dogs are usually more expensive. Thank-you for thinking about this first. Most people think it's a 50# bag of Ol' Roy once in a while.
